    AD693AD Product Overview

    The AD693AD is a monolithic signal conditioning circuit from Analog Devices, designed for the electronic measurement of low-level transducer inputs to control a standard 4–20 mA two-wire current loop with galvanic isolation inherent to loop-powered operation. The AD variant features a 20-pin ceramic side-brazed DIP package, includes an on-chip voltage reference and auxiliary amplifier for transducer excitation, and offers precalibrated input and output spans via simple pin strapping .

    Rated for 30 mV or 60 mV nominal input spans (preset), with additional spans from 1 mV to 100 mV achievable using external resistors, it outputs a 4–20 mA current loop signal with 0.5% total unadjusted error at +25°C and 0.75% over the industrial temperature range. Nonlinearity is 0.05%. Response time is suitable for DC and low-frequency applications, and bandwidth is typically below 1 kHz. Supply voltage range is +12 V to +36 V. Mass is approximately 1 gram and operating temperature is −40°C to +85°C .
