    AD9914BCPZ Product Overview

    The AD9914BCPZ is a high-performance direct digital synthesizer (DDS) from Analog Devices, featuring an integrated 12-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC). It leverages advanced DDS technology combined with an internal high-speed, high-performance DAC to form a complete, digitally programmable frequency synthesizer.

    Capable of generating frequency-agile analog output sinusoidal waveforms at up to 1.4 GHz, the AD9914BCPZ enables fast frequency hopping and fine tuning resolution (64-bit capable using programmable modulus mode). It also offers fast phase and amplitude hopping capability.

    The AD9914BCPZ delivers exceptional frequency agility with fast hopping capability, making it suitable for demanding radar and communication systems. The integrated 12-bit DAC provides high-fidelity output with low-distortion signal generation.

    Advanced modulation capabilities include phase modulation, amplitude modulation, and automatic linear and nonlinear frequency sweeping. The device features programmable modulus for 64-bit fine tuning resolution, 8 frequency/phase offset profiles for flexible configuration, and a 32-bit parallel datapath interface for high-speed data transfer. Power-down modes are available via software and hardware control. The 88-lead LFCSP package provides excellent thermal performance and compact footprint.
