    LEM AHR 500 B420 AHR Series Split Core Current Transducer

    LEM AHR 500 B420 Product Overview

    The AHR 500 B420 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's AHR Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC and distorted AC waveform currents with galvanic isolation between the primary circuit (power) and the secondary circuit (measurement). This split core transducer features a True RMS 4-20mA current output and a signal conditioner integrated into a single housing.

    Rated for 500 A nominal with a measuring range of ±2000 A peak, it outputs a DC 4-20 mA signal with ±1% accuracy. Response time is less than 150 ms and bandwidth is DC, 20 to 6000 Hz. Supply voltage range is +20 to 50 V DC. Mass is 260 g and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +70°C. Insulation test voltage is 5.2 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute with 11 mm creepage and clearance. The large 104 x 40 mm aperture accommodates busbars for non-contact measurement.
