    BCR420UW6-7 Product Overview

    The BCR420UW6-7 is a constant current linear LED driver from Diodes Incorporated's BCR420U Series, designed for driving low- to medium-power LEDs with stable current regulation and a compact footprint. The W6-7 variant features a 6-pin SOT-26 (SC-74) surface-mount package and integrates transistors, diodes, and resistors monolithically to minimize external component count .

    Rated for an input voltage range of 1.4 V to 40 V, it delivers a default output current of 10 mA with regulation accuracy of ±10%, adjustable up to 350 mA using an external resistor . The device outputs linear constant current with PWM dimming capability and includes an internal switch. Maximum power dissipation is 1.19 W. Mass is negligible and operating junction temperature ranges from -55°C to +150°C. The driver features a negative temperature coefficient that reduces output current with rising temperature to protect LEDs from thermal runaway and extend lifespan .
