    CKSR6-NP – High-Precision Closed-Loop Current Sensor

     

    CKSR6-NP Product Overview

    The CKSR6-NP is a high-precision, closed-loop multi-range current sensor from LEM’s CKSR series. It is designed to measure DC, AC, and pulsed currents while providing galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. With a rated measurement current of 6 A, the sensor uses flux-gate, closed-loop compensation technology. Thanks to its excellent linearity, very low zero-point temperature drift, and fast response, it is widely used in AC variable speed drives, servo motor drives, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), solar inverters, and other precision industrial applications.

    Whether you are designing a compact power supply system or looking for an accurate current feedback component for a motor drive project, the CKSR6-NP delivers stable and reliable current sensing in a space-saving package.

     

    CKSR6-NP Key Highlights

    1. Ultra-fast response – captures minute current changes

    A response time of only 0.3 µs allows the CKSR6-NP to capture transient current fluctuations in real time, making it ideal for applications that require rapid reaction, such as inverter overcurrent protection and high-frequency switching power supplies.

    2. High accuracy across the full range – trustworthy data

    The sensor achieves an accuracy of ±0.8 % over the entire measurement range. With a rated detection range of ±6 A and linearity of ±1 %, it provides stable and accurate output for most low-voltage, low-current applications.

    3. Highly integrated – easy to embed in PCB designs

    The compact through-hole PCB design has a low profile, fitting easily into space-constrained boards. The sensor provides four primary pins that allow multi-range switching from ±1.5 A to ±6 A via different connection configurations – greatly increasing design flexibility.

    4. Excellent environmental robustness and safety

    Wide operating temperature range from -40 ℃ to +105 ℃ ensures stable performance in both cold and hot environments.

    1000 Vrms isolation voltage protects downstream control circuits from high-voltage surges, and the sensor is UL recognized and RoHS compliant.

    Outstanding dv/dt immunity and low offset temperature coefficient guarantee stable voltage output even in noisy environments such as variable frequency drives.
