±0.2% accuracy – industrial-grade performance that’s proven
The CV3-2000’s accuracy isn’t just a lab number. Each unit is aged and calibrated by LEM before shipment. The rated measurement accuracy is 0.2%, but what truly matters is the thermal drift – even from -40°C to +85°C, it stays within 0.2%. So, when your EV charger bakes under summer sun at 60°C, while ordinary sensors may drift by ±5% or more, the CV3 remains rock-solid. That’s the difference between industrial-grade and consumer-grade.
Primary nominal RMS voltage: 1400 V, with a measuring range from 0 to ±2000 V. It measures AC, DC, and pulsed voltages, and works in single-phase and three-phase systems. From low-voltage distribution to medium/high-voltage systems, a single CV3-2000 covers it all.
Closed-loop fluxgate technology – stable, no drift
Based on closed-loop fluxgate technology, the CV3-2000 actively compensates for core saturation. Even with severe input voltage fluctuations, output linearity remains excellent. On a variable frequency drive test bench, a conventional transformer drifted 1.7% after 30 minutes – but the CV3-2000 ran for eight hours continuously, maintaining a clean, stable waveform. That’s the kind of unassuming reliability that defines true professionalism.
300 kHz bandwidth + ≤0.4 µs response – never too slow
With 300 kHz bandwidth, the CV3-2000 captures the full signal spectrum from DC to high frequency. Delay time is under 0.4 µs, minimising the risk of signal loss. Whether capturing transient surges or monitoring high-frequency ripple, the CV3-2000 never lags behind.
6 kV electrical isolation – safeguarding what matters most
In high-voltage applications like renewables, variable frequency drives, and rail transit, isolation voltage isn’t optional – it’s essential. The CV3-2000 provides 6 kV RMS power frequency insulation withstand voltage, with a creepage distance of 83.8 mm. LEM’s magnetic isolation design uses no optocouplers, no electrolytic capacitors – truly no ageing failure mechanism. That’s not just a specification; it’s a safety margin.

The robust performance of the CV3-2000 has been proven across multiple industries:
Renewable energy (PV / energy storage)
In solar inverters and energy storage converters, accurate voltage feedback directly affects conversion efficiency. The CV3-2000 makes MPPT tracking more precise and prevents battery management systems from making incorrect decisions due to signal errors.
Rail transit
Compliant with EN 50155 railway standards. Suitable for traction converters, auxiliary converters, braking choppers, and battery chargers – both on-board and wayside equipment – surviving vibration, wide temperature swings, and electromagnetic interference.
Industrial automation & variable frequency drives
Servo drives, UPS systems, welding machines – anywhere precise voltage feedback is needed, the CV3-2000 provides plug-and-play support.
EV BMS & charging infrastructure
In electric vehicle battery management systems and DC fast chargers, the CV3-2000’s high reliability and wide operating temperature range ensure precise management of every kilowatt-hour.
No calibration needed – truly plug-and-play. With built-in amplification, it outputs a standard ±10 V analog voltage signal. Connect directly to the ADC input of a PLC or MCU. Forget the complex external circuitry required by traditional Hall sensors – setup time drops from days to “just wire it up”.
Authorised and proven quality. UL 94-V0 flame-retardant housing, RoHS compliant, CE certified. Every sensor undergoes rigorous factory ageing and testing – documented, traceable data.
Genuine stock, ready to ship. Original LEM authentic parts. Complete datasheets, dimensional drawings, technical support, and after-sales service – all from one source.
