    In the world of power electronics and automation control, precise current measurement is the cornerstone of safe system operation. The LEM HAC300-S open-loop Hall-effect current sensor delivers ±1% high accuracy, 7µs fast response, and a wide bandwidth up to 50kHz, providing a stable and reliable current measurement solution for various industrial applications. Whether for AC variable speed drives, UPS systems, or renewable energy equipment, the HAC300-S is a trusted component for your circuit design.

     

    HAC300-S Key Advantages

    Open-loop Hall-effect technology with galvanic isolation
    Based on proven Hall-effect measurement principles, the HAC300-S provides 2500V galvanic isolation between the primary (high-power) and secondary (electronic) circuits, effectively protecting both personnel and equipment while measuring instantaneous current.

    ±1% high accuracy for reliable measurement data
    Over the full measurement range, the HAC300-S achieves ±1% accuracy and linearity, meeting strict current measurement requirements in industrial environments.

    7µs microsecond response – captures fast transients
    With an ultra-fast 7µs response time and a DC~50kHz wide frequency band, the sensor accurately captures AC, DC, pulse, and other waveforms, making it ideal for high-speed drive and protection applications.

    ±15V supply with ±4V instantaneous voltage output
    Standard ±15V dual-polarity supply, output is an instantaneous ±4V voltage signal. Output impedance is 100Ω, recommended load resistance ≥10kΩ, convenient for direct connection to ADCs or controllers.

    300A nominal rating, 900A wide measurement range
    Nominal current 300A RMS, maximum measurable range up to ±900A, meeting the needs of most medium- to high-power industrial equipment.

    Low power consumption, compact size, easy mounting
    Maximum supply current only 18mA, combined with a compact modular design and panel mounting method, greatly reduces system design difficulty and space occupation.

    Wide temperature operation and safety certifications
    Operating temperature -10°C to 80°C, storage temperature -15°C to 85°C. The housing uses UL 94-V0 certified insulating plastic, fully meeting industrial environmental reliability requirements.
