The HAH3DR 800-S07/SP4 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HAH3DR S07 series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This transducer is a tri-phase sensor specifically engineered for high-power, low-voltage automotive applications, such as traction inverters in xEVs (HEV, EV). The S07/SP4 variant is designed to offer high integration, fitting within an inverter module such as the Infineon HybridPACK™ Drive, with a panel/PCB mounting style and press-fit terminals for connection to the gate driver board.
Rated for 800 A nominal with a ±800 A measuring range, it outputs a ratiometric voltage of 2.5 V ± 2 V (instantaneous) with 2.5% accuracy. Sensitivity is 2.5 mV/A. Response time is 6 µs and bandwidth is DC to 40 kHz. Supply voltage is +5 V (4.75 to 5.25 V) with a maximum supply current of 60 mA. Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C. The sensor is designed for unidirectional polarization. Insulation test voltage is 3.06 kV with creepage distance of 6.4 mm and clearance of 4.8 mm.
