    LEM HAIS 150-P Product Overview

    The HAIS 150-P is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HAIS series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This through-hole PCB-mount sensor operates from a single +5 V power supply, simplifying system integration with its ratiometric voltage output .

    Rated for 150 A nominal with a ±450 A measuring range, it outputs an analog voltage of 2.5 V ± 0.625 V with 1% accuracy and ±0.5% linearity . Response time is 5 µs and bandwidth is DC to 50 kHz . Supply voltage is +5 V (±5%) with a maximum current consumption of 19 mA . Mass is 30 g and operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage is 2.5 kV with a plastic case recognized according to UL 94-V0 .

The ±450 A range provides generous headroom for measuring nominal currents up to 150 A with transient overcurrent capability, while the 5 µs response time and 50 kHz bandwidth capture fast-changing switching and pulse waveforms with high fidelity. The PCB-mount design enables direct board integration, and the unipolar +5 V supply simplifies power design. The reference access pin offers flexible signal conditioning, and the 2.5 kV insulation ensures robust safety isolation for industrial applications. The design uses the same form factor for a wide range of current ratings, simplifying inventory management .
