    LEM HAIS 400-P Product Overview

    The HAIS 400-P is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HAIS series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This through-hole PCB-mount sensor operates from a single +5 V power supply, simplifying system integration with its ratiometric voltage output and fixed offset . The sensor is designed for industrial applications, offering a compact form factor with 4-pin PCB fixation . Please note this product is Not For New Designs .

    Rated for 400 A nominal with a ±600 A measuring range, it outputs an analog voltage of 2.5 V ± 0.625 V with 1% accuracy at +25°C and ±0.5% linearity . Response time is 5 µs and bandwidth is DC to 50 kHz . Supply voltage is +5 V (±5%) with a maximum current consumption of 19 mA . Mass is 20 g and operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage is 2.5 kV with a creepage distance greater than 8 mm, and the plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 .
