    LEM HAR 1000-S Product Overview

    The HAR 1000-S is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HAR series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This panel-mount sensor is specifically engineered for the railway industry, suitable for both fixed installations and onboard systems on trains, trams, and metros. The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0, with materials complying with the smoke and fire classification requirements of the traction industry.

    Rated for 1000 A nominal with a ±2500 A measuring range, it outputs an instantaneous analog voltage of ±5 V with 0.5% accuracy. Response time is optimized and bandwidth is DC to 10 kHz. Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%). Mass is specified and operating temperature is -40°C to +70°C. Insulation test voltage is 7000 V, providing reinforced isolation for demanding traction applications.
