In modern industrial automation, renewable energy, smart buildings, and beyond, current monitoring is as essential as an ECG for equipment. The HASS100-S Hall effect current sensor, from LEM – a leader in precision measurement from Switzerland – delivers ±0.5% linearity and ±1% measurement accuracy. It provides realtime, precise current information for your system, so every current fluctuation is clearly understood.
Utilising open-loop Hall effect measurement, the sensor has a rated current of 100A and can measure up to 300A. It supports bidirectional measurement and can detect AC/DC, pulsed, mixed and other current waveforms. With ±0.5% linearity and ±1% accuracy, it delivers reliable current feedback even in complex operating conditions – providing data you can trust for your control system.
Response time is just 3µs, with a frequency range of DC~50kHz and a di/dt tracking capability of 100 A/µs – capable of capturing microsecond-level current transients. One DC fast-charging pile manufacturer who adopted this solution reduced overcurrent protection response time from 20ms to only 5ms, and saw a 32% year-on-year drop in fault rates. That’s the safety barrier the HASS100-S builds for you.
Operating temperature spans -40℃ to 105℃ (extendable to 125℃ for some variants), combined with very low temperature drift (gain drift ≤ ±0.05% of reading/K). Whether in the freezing winters of the north or the hot workshops of the south, the HASS100-S delivers stable performance without ever dropping the ball.
The isolation test voltage between primary and secondary is 3300V. The housing uses UL 94-V0 flame-retardant plastic, effectively preventing high-voltage interference and safeguarding your system. It runs on a single 5V supply with a maximum supply current of only 19mA – low-power design that makes your system more energy-efficient and eco-friendly.
Modular design, compact size, easy installation. Supports through-hole, busbar and other mounting methods. High compatibility allows seamless integration into almost any existing circuit or control system.
As the “health monitor” in battery management systems (BMS), the HASS100-S is the preferred solution for leading automakers like BYD and NIO. It monitors charge/discharge current in real time, and with temperature compensation can reduce SOC estimation error from 8% to under 3%, while narrowing vehicle range fluctuation by 15%. In charging piles, the 200kHz bandwidth captures µs-level current transients for faster overcurrent protection.
In frequency converters, servo drives, machine tools and other industrial equipment, the HASS100-S monitors motor current in real time, helping optimise operating efficiency and reduce energy waste. The faster and more accurate the feedback signal, the smoother the equipment runs.
Ideal for UPS, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), telecom power supplies and similar equipment. It monitors output current to ensure power stability, and during grid faults it works with batteries or UPS systems to complete emergency switching.
In smart air conditioners, smart meters, smart sockets and more, the HASS100-S accurately detects load current, enabling energy monitoring and intelligent control – helping users save energy and improve efficiency with data-driven insights.
