    HASS 500-S Open-Loop Hall Effect Current Transducer

     

    HASS 500-S Product Overview

    The HASS 500-S is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HASS series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This panel-mount sensor operates with a single +5 V supply and features a ratiometric voltage output with fixed offset and gain.

    Rated for 500 A RMS nominal with a bidirectional measuring range of ±1100 A, it outputs a ratiometric voltage signal of 2.5 V ± 0.625 V at rated current. Accuracy is ±1% with ±0.5% linearity. Response time is 3 µs and frequency bandwidth is DC to 50 kHz. Supply voltage is 4.75 to 5.25 V DC with a maximum supply current of 19 mA. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C (or up to +105°C depending on specification). Mounting is through-hole panel mount. The housing uses UL 94-V0 recognized materials. Product status is Not For New Designs (DigiKey indication), though the product remains available through distribution channels.
