    HAT200-S Executive Summary

    The HAT200-S is a high-precision open-loop current sensor based on the Hall effect, designed for electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents. Manufactured by LEM, a world-leading current sensor brand, it belongs to the HAT series and covers a wide current range from 200A to 1500A. The core value of the HAT200-S lies in its high accuracy (±1%), fast response (5µs), wide operating temperature range (–40°C to 105°C), and an isolation voltage of up to 4.9kVrms. These features meet the demanding requirements for safety and reliability in industrial environments.

    1. High Accuracy for System Stability
    Accuracy ±1%, linearity ±1% – the sensor faithfully reproduces real-time current conditions. Whether monitoring DC motor load variations or capturing inverter output waveforms, the HAT200-S delivers stable, accurate measurements, helping your control system perform at its best.

    2. Electrical Isolation for Operational Safety
    With an isolation voltage of 4.9kVrms (3000V for some versions), the sensor provides galvanic isolation between the primary high-voltage circuit and the secondary electronic circuit. This prevents high-voltage transients from damaging the measurement circuitry, protecting both equipment and personnel.

    3. Fast Response to Capture Transient Anomalies
    A response time of only 5µs enables rapid detection of current transients and spikes. For real-time protection and control applications (e.g., overcurrent protection in power supplies, motor stall detection), this fast response allows you to identify faults and take action without delay.

    4. Wide Temperature Range for Harsh Environments
    Supporting an operating temperature range of –40°C to 105°C, the HAT200S works reliably whether in cold outdoor installations or hot industrial cabinets, with no performance degradation due to temperature changes.

    5. Low Power Consumption for Energy Efficiency
    Maximum operating current is only 15mA, powered by a ±15V dual supply. It consumes very little power and imposes no extra burden on the system, making it ideal for 24/7 continuous monitoring.
