    HAX 1200-S Open-Loop Hall Effect Current Transducer

     

    HAX 1200-S Product Overview

    The HAX 1200-S is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HAX series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary circuit (high power) and the secondary circuit (electronic circuit). This panel-mount sensor is engineered for industrial applications requiring reliable, non-intrusive current measurement across a wide range.

    Rated for 1200 A RMS nominal with a bidirectional measuring range of ±3600 A (3 x IPN), it outputs a ±4 V voltage signal at rated current. Accuracy is ±1% with ±1% linearity. Response time is <5 µs and frequency bandwidth is DC to 25 kHz. Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%) with a maximum supply current of 15 mA. Insulation test voltage is 5 kV RMS (50Hz, 1 minute) with isolation resistance >1000 MΩ at 500 VDC. The sensor features a compact panel-mount design with 108 mm length, 62 mm width, and 25 mm height, and mass is approximately 450 g. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. Housing meets UL 94-V0 flame-retardant standards. Product status is Active and available for new designs.
