    LEM HOB 130-P HOB Series Open Loop Hall Effect Current Transducer

     

    LEM HOB 130-P Product Overview

    The HOB 130-P is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HOB Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This PCB-mount transducer is optimized for high-frequency power electronics, featuring a 1 MHz bandwidth and 200 ns response time, making it ideal for SiC and GaN-based applications .

    Rated for 130 A nominal with a measuring range of ±250 A, it outputs a ratiometric analog voltage with ±1.2% accuracy and ±0.45% linearity . Sensitivity is 8 mV/A . Supply voltage range is 4.6 V to 5.5 V with a maximum current consumption of 26 mA . Mass is 30 g and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +105°C . Insulation features reinforced insulation with creepage and clearance distances >11 mm. The integrated primary conductor has very low resistance of 60 nΩ. The device is designed for through-hole PCB mounting .

    The single +5 V supply simplifies integration into low-voltage digital systems. The integrated primary conductor with 60 nΩ resistance minimizes power losses, and the design offers high di/dt and dv/dt immunity for reliable operation in noisy power electronics environments . The device is factory calibrated and complies with IEC 61010-1, IEC 61800, and UL 508 standards .
