    LEM HOP 500-SB HOP Series Open Loop Hall Effect Current Transducer

     

    LEM HOP 500-SB Product Overview

    The HOP 500-SB is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HOP Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This split-core transducer features a 41 x 12.5 mm rectangular aperture for non-intrusive busbar installation without disconnecting existing conductors.

    Rated for 500 A nominal with a measuring range of ±750 A , it outputs an analog voltage of ±4 V with ≤±2% accuracy and ≤±1% linearity. Response time is <10 µs and frequency bandwidth (-1 dB) is DC to 10 kHz . Supply voltage range is ±12 V to ±15 V (±5%) with a maximum current consumption of 20 mA . Mass is 590 g and operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +70°C . Insulation test voltage is 5 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute. The device supports both busbar fastening and panel mounting with 4 mounting holes. The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 .
