    LEM HOP 500-SB/SP1 Product Overview

    The HOP 500-SB/SP1 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HOP Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This split-core transducer features a 104 x 40 mm aperture for non-intrusive busbar installation without disconnecting existing conductors .

    Rated for 500 A nominal with a measuring range of ±1000 A, it outputs an analog voltage of ±4 V with ≤±2% accuracy and ≤±1% linearity . Response time is <10 µs and frequency bandwidth is DC to 10 kHz . Supply voltage range is ±12 V to ±15 V with a maximum current consumption of 20 mA . Mass is 590 g and operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +70°C . Insulation test voltage is 5 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute, with 21.2 mm creepage distance and 16 mm clearance . Secondary connection is via a Molex 5045-04AG connector with mating connector provided . The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 .
