    LEM HTA 250-S/SP3 Product Overview

    The HTA 250-S/SP3 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HTA Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This panel-mount transducer features a 32 mm diameter aperture for non-intrusive installation and a 2 m screened output cable as a special feature .

    Rated for 250 A nominal with a measuring range of ±250 A, it outputs an analog voltage of ±10 V with ±1% accuracy and ±0.5% linearity . Response time is <3 µs and frequency bandwidth is DC to 25 kHz . Supply voltage range is ±15 V (±10%) with a current consumption of <25 mA . Mass is 300 g and operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +70°C . Insulation test voltage is 4.0 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute, with 7.2 mm creepage and clearance distances . The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 .

    LEM HTA 250-S/SP3 Key Advantages

    The HTA 250-S/SP3 employs open-loop Hall effect technology, delivering ±1% accuracy and ±0.5% linearity while providing galvanic isolation with 4.0 kV insulation voltage . The 32 mm aperture enables non-intrusive installation without disconnecting existing cables, and the 2 m screened cable simplifies wiring in panel-mount applications .

    The design offers very good linearity, low temperature drift (TCVout ±0.05%/K), high immunity to external interference, very low insertion losses, and current overload capability . Panel mounting supports both horizontal and vertical positions with M4 screws (recommended torque 0.75 N·m) .
