    LEM HTB 300-P/SP5 Product Overview

    The HTB 300-P/SP5 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HTB Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This PCB-mount transducer is the SP5 variant, featuring a single unipolar supply (+12 V to +15 V) and a ratiometric voltage output centered at VC/2.

    Rated for 300 A nominal with a measuring range of ±900 A (3 × IPN), it outputs an analog voltage of VC/2 ± 1.667 V at nominal current with ±1% accuracy and ±1% linearity. Response time is 3 µs and frequency bandwidth is DC to 50 kHz. Supply voltage range is +12 V to +15 V (±5%) with a maximum current consumption of 15 mA. Mass is <30 g and operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +85°C. Insulation test voltage is 2.5 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute. The device features a 16 mm diameter aperture for primary conductor installation and requires only 4.3 cm² of PCB space. The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0.
