    LEM HTFS 200-P/SP2 Product Overview

    The HTFS 200-P/SP2 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HTFS Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This PCB-mount transducer is part of a family offering 200 A, 400 A, and 800 A nominal ratings within the same design, providing flexibility and simplifying inventory management.

    Rated for 200 A nominal with a measuring range of ±300 A, it outputs a ratiometric analog voltage of VREF ± (1.25 × IP / IPN) V. Accuracy is ≤±1% at 25°C with ≤±0.5% linearity. Response time is <3.5 µs and bandwidth is DC to 240 kHz. Supply voltage is +5 V (±5%) with typical current consumption of 19 mA. Mass is 60 g and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +105°C. The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0.

    The HTFS 200-P/SP2 employs open-loop Hall effect technology, delivering ≤±1% accuracy and ≤±0.5% linearity while providing galvanic isolation. The ±300 A measuring range accommodates overloads up to 1.5 times nominal current, and the 240 kHz bandwidth captures dynamic signals with high fidelity. The VREF IN/OUT feature allows external reference overdrive between 0.5 V and 2.65 V for system flexibility. The single +5 V supply simplifies integration, and the compact PCB design offers low power consumption, high immunity to interference, and no insertion losses.
