    LEM HXN 50-P HXN Series Open Loop Hall Effect Current Transducer

     

    LEM HXN 50-P Product Overview

    The HXN 50-P is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HXN Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit . This compact PCB-mount transducer is part of a family covering nominal currents from 3 A to 50 A, with a single design for wide current ratings range that simplifies inventory management .

    Rated for 50 A nominal with a measuring range of ±150 A (3 × IPN), it outputs an analog voltage of ±4 V with ≤±1% accuracy and ≤±1% linearity . The output internal resistance is <50 Ω, with a minimum load resistance of ≥10 kΩ . Delay time to 90% of output value is 3 µs and frequency bandwidth (-3 dB) is 50 kHz . Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%), also operable at ±12 V (measuring range reduced to ±2.5 × IPN) . Current consumption is <±15 mA . Mass is 8 g and operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage is 3000 V RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute with 5.5 mm creepage and clearance . The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 . Electrical offset voltage at 25°C is <±40 mV, with thermal drift of <±1.5 mV/K .
