    LEM HY 50-P/SP21 Product Overview

    The HY 50-P/SP21 is an open-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's HY Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This PCB-mount transducer is the SP21 variant with an extended measuring range up to 150 A peak and a voltage output of ±4 V at nominal current .

    Rated for 50 A nominal with a measuring range of ±150 A (3 × IPN), it outputs an analog voltage of ±4 V with ±1% accuracy and ±1% linearity . The device offers a frequency bandwidth of DC to 50 kHz with a response time of 5 µs (typical) . Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%) with a current consumption of ±10 mA . Mass is <14 g and operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +80°C . Insulation test voltage is 2500 V RMS with an insulation resistance >1000 MΩ at 500 V DC . The output internal resistance is 100 Ω, and the minimum load resistance is 1 kΩ . The insulating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 . Electrical offset voltage at 25°C is <±40 mV, with thermal drift of ±1.5 mV/K typical and ±3 mV/K maximum . The device can withstand overload current up to 50 × IPN for 1 ms .
