LEM IN 2000-S IN Series Ultra-Stab Closed Loop Fluxgate Current Transducer
LEM IN 2000-S Product Overview
The IN 2000-S is a closed-loop Fluxgate current transducer from LEM's IN Series, designed for the ultra-high precision measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This panel-mount transducer features a large aperture for flexible primary conductor installation and delivers exceptional accuracy for demanding calibration, medical, and high-precision industrial applications.
Rated for 2000 A nominal with a measuring range of ±3000 A, it outputs an instantaneous secondary current of 500 mA at nominal with 0.01% accuracy . The transducer provides an overrange capability up to 6000 A (3 × IPN) for short-duration pulses . Response time is optimized for precise current measurement, with the design offering excellent linearity and very low offset drift. Supply voltage range is ±15 V (±5%) . Mass is 8.5 kg and operating temperature ranges from -10°C to +70°C . Insulation test voltage is 4.5 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute . The output interface is via a 9-pin D-Sub male connector, and an optically insulated status output with LED indicator confirms normal operation. The device is designed for panel mounting with a large aperture to accommodate primary conductors without disconnecting existing cables.

LEM IN 2000-S Key Advantages
The IN 2000-S employs closed-loop Fluxgate technology, delivering 0.01% accuracy while providing galvanic isolation with an electrostatic shield between primary and secondary circuits. The Fluxgate principle offers excellent linearity, very low offset drift, low noise output, high immunity to external interference, and no insertion losses.
A key feature is the optically insulated status output (photocoupler type) with LED indicator confirming normal operation. The ±3000 A measuring range accommodates significant overload conditions up to three times the nominal value for short durations. The large aperture enables non-intrusive installation of primary conductors without disconnecting existing cables. The design offers low noise feedback to the primary conductor and is suitable for ultra-high precision current measurement with galvanic separation. The output interface via 9-pin D-Sub male connector provides flexible system integration.
