    LEM IN 2000-SB IN Series Ultra-Stab Closed Loop Fluxgate Current Transducer

     

    LEM IN 2000-SB Product Overview

    The IN 2000-SB is a closed-loop Fluxgate current transducer from LEM's IN Series, designed for ultra-high precision measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation. This panel-mount transducer features an electrostatic shield between primary and secondary circuits and delivers exceptional accuracy for demanding calibration, medical, and high-precision industrial applications.

    Rated for 2000 A nominal with a measuring range of ±2000 A, it outputs an instantaneous voltage signal of ±10 V with 0.0075% accuracy. Sensitivity is 200 mV/A. Linearity error is 15 ppm over temperature, with offset drift of 39 ppm and peak-to-peak noise of 9 ppm. Delay time to 90% output is 1 µs and small-signal bandwidth is 113 kHz (±1 dB). Supply voltage range is ±14.25 V to ±15.75 V. Mass is 4.2 kg and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Insulation test voltage is 6 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute, with 21 mm clearance and 22 mm creepage distance. The output interface is via a 9-pin D-Sub male connector, supporting flat or vertical panel mounting.

    LEM IN 2000-SB Key Advantages

    The IN 2000-SB employs closed-loop Fluxgate technology (LEM patent), delivering 0.0075% accuracy while providing galvanic isolation with an electrostatic shield. Excellent linearity of 15 ppm over the wide -40°C to +85°C temperature range, very low offset drift of 39 ppm, and low noise level of 9 ppm peak-to-peak ensure measurement stability. The 200-turn test winding enables self-test functionality without primary current. Maximum withstand peak current is 10 kA for 100 ms pulses.
