    LEM IT 605-S Product Overview

    The IT 605-S is a closed-loop Fluxgate current transducer from LEM's ULTRASTAB IT Series, designed for the ultra-high precision measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This panel-mount transducer delivers exceptional accuracy for demanding laboratory, calibration, and medical applications.

    Rated for 600 A nominal with a measuring range of ±600 A (DC) and ±849 A (AC), it outputs a secondary current of 400 mA at nominal. The device provides outstanding 0.0032% accuracy (32 ppm) with ±1 µs response time. Supply voltage range is ±14.25 V to ±15.75 V. Mass is 1.08 kg and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. The output interface is via a 9-pin D-Sub male connector with an optically insulated photocoupler output. An LED indicator confirms normal operation.

    The IT 605-S employs closed-loop Fluxgate technology, delivering 0.0032% accuracy while providing galvanic isolation between primary and secondary circuits. The Fluxgate principle offers excellent linearity, extremely low temperature drift, very low output noise, high immunity to external interference, no insertion losses, and low noise feedback to the primary conductor.

    A key feature is the optically insulated status output via photocoupler and LED indicator confirming normal operation. The ±1 µs response time captures dynamic current signals with high fidelity. The design also features overload protection.
