    LEM IT 700-S Product Overview

    The IT 700-S is a closed-loop Fluxgate current transducer from LEM's ULTRASTAB IT Series, designed for the ultra-high precision measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This panel-mount transducer delivers exceptional accuracy for demanding laboratory, calibration, and medical applications.

    Rated for 700 A nominal with a measuring range of ±700 A, it outputs a secondary current of 400 mA at nominal with an outstanding 0.00535% accuracy . Linearity error is 3 ppm, and initial offset is 50 ppm with an extremely low offset drift of 0.5 ppm/K . Response time is <250 µs and frequency bandwidth is 100 kHz (-3 dB) . Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%) . Mass is 0.8 kg and operating temperature ranges from +10°C to +50°C . Insulation test voltage is 4.6 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute, with 9 mm creepage and clearance . The 30 mm diameter aperture accommodates round primary conductors . The output interface is via a 9-pin D-Sub male connector .

The Fluxgate principle offers extremely low offset drift of 0.5 ppm/K, ensuring measurement stability over the operating temperature range . The 100 kHz bandwidth and <250 µs response time capture dynamic current signals with high fidelity.

    A key feature is the optically insulated status output and LED indicator confirming normal operation . The transducer can withstand peak currents of 3.5 kA for 100 ms pulses and features an autoreset system after overload conditions . The design offers very low output noise (1 ppm RMS in 0-10 Hz band), high immunity to external interference, no insertion losses, and low noise feedback to the primary conductor .
