    LEM LA 205-S/SP30 Product Overview

    The LA 205-S/SP30 is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LA205 series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This panel-mount sensor features a 22.7 x 17.4 mm aperture for the primary conductor crossing . The SP30 variant connects to the secondary circuit via Faston 6.3 x 0.8 mm terminals , providing robust and reliable connections for industrial environments. The isolating plastic case is recognized according to UL 94-V0 .

    Rated for 300 A nominal with a ±500 A measuring range, it outputs a secondary current of 150 mA (instantaneous) with 0.8% accuracy and <0.1% linearity . The conversion ratio is 1:2000 . Reaction time is <500 ns and response time is <1 µs, with a bandwidth of DC to 100 kHz . Supply voltage range is ±12 V to ±15 V (±5%) . Mass is 110 g and operating temperature is -10°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage provides basic insulation to 3250 V and safe separation to 1625 V according to EN 50178 .
