    LEM LAC 300-S/SP1 Product Overview

    The LAC 300-S/SP1 is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LAC series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This panel-mount sensor is specifically engineered for railway traction applications, featuring a 30 x 13 mm aperture for the primary conductor and a UL 94-V0 recognized insulating plastic case . The SP1 variant is characterized by a 1:2000 turns ratio and a ±15 V bipolar supply voltage .

    Rated for 200 A nominal with a ±700 A measuring range, it outputs a secondary current of 100 mA (instantaneous) with 0.9% accuracy and ±1% linearity . Response time is 1 µs and bandwidth is DC to 50 kHz . Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%). Mass is approximately 140 g and operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage is 5.5 kV with a creepage distance of 21.2 mm and clearance of 11.2 mm, complying with railway standards .
