    LEM LAC 300-S/SP3 Product Overview

    The LAC 300-S/SP3 is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LAC series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This panel-mount sensor is specifically engineered for railway traction applications, featuring a 30 x 13 mm aperture for primary conductor crossing . The SP3 variant is characterized by a 1:5000 turns ratio and a secondary nominal signal of 80 mA .

    Rated for 400 A nominal with a ±600 A measuring range, it outputs a secondary current of 80 mA (instantaneous) with 1.1% accuracy and <0.1% linearity . Delay time is <1 µs and bandwidth is DC to 50 kHz . Supply voltage is ±15 V (±5%) . Mass is 137 g and operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage is 5.5 kV with a creepage distance of 21.2 mm and clearance of 11.2 mm, complying with railway standard EN 50155 .
