LF 1005-S/SP16 Product Overview

The LF 1005-S/SP16 is a high-precision current sensor based on closed-loop Hall effect technology, from LEM (Switzerland), the global leader in electrical measurement. Featuring closed-loop compensation technology, it is designed for electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents, with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. It is a custom-tailored solution developed by LEM for high-power drive systems such as ABB's ACS800 series.

The sensor operates on a wide-range ±15V to ±24V bipolar supply, with a rated current of 1000A, a measuring range of up to ±2100A (2.1x overload capability), and a 200mA current output. It features a 20.1mm aperture, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (industrial) / -10°C to +70°C (standard), and complies with EN 50178 and IEC 61010-1 international standards.
