    LEM LKSR 15-NP Product Overview

    The LKSR 15-NP is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LKSR series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This PCB-mount sensor features a compact design with voltage output and a unipolar +5 V supply voltage, simplifying integration into modern electronic systems. The multi-range design allows flexible primary connection configurations, and the reference pin provides versatile signal adaptation options.

    Rated for 15 A nominal with a ±51 A measuring range, it outputs a ratiometric voltage of 2.5 V ± 0.625 V (instantaneous) with 0.45% accuracy and ±0.1% linearity. Sensitivity is 41.67 mV/A. Response time is 0.4 µs and bandwidth is DC to 300 kHz. Supply voltage is +5 V (4.75 to 5.25 V), with a maximum supply current of 27.5 mA. Operating temperature is -40°C to +105°C. The sensor provides reinforced insulation suitable for demanding industrial environments.

    The LKSR 15-NP employs closed-loop Hall effect technology, delivering 0.45% accuracy and ±0.1% linearity while maintaining very low offset drift and excellent dv/dt immunity. The ±51 A range provides generous headroom for measuring nominal currents up to 15 A with transient overcurrent capability, while the 0.4 µs response time and 300 kHz bandwidth capture fast-changing switching and pulse waveforms with high fidelity. The PCB-mount design with through-hole terminals enables direct integration onto circuit boards, and the multi-range primary connection allows flexible scaling for different current levels. The unipolar +5 V supply simplifies power design, and the reference pin offers both input and output modes for enhanced system flexibility.
