    LEM LPSR 25-NP Product Overview

    The LPSR 25-NP is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LPSR series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This PCB-mount sensor features an integrated primary conductor and delivers performance approaching that of fluxgate technology without the added cost . The design includes a reference access pin and an overcurrent detection output for enhanced system protection .

    Rated for 25 A nominal with an ±85 A measuring range, it outputs a ratiometric voltage of 2.5 V ± 0.625 V (instantaneous) with 0.5% accuracy and ±0.1% linearity . Response time is <0.4 µs and bandwidth is DC to 300 kHz . Supply voltage is +5 V (4.75 to 5.25 V) . Mass is light and operating temperature is -40°C to +105°C . Insulation test voltage is 4.3 kV with a creepage and clearance distance of 9.5 mm .

    LEM LPSR 25-NP Key Advantages

    The LPSR 25-NP employs closed-loop Hall effect technology with a proprietary ASIC, delivering 0.5% accuracy and ±0.1% linearity while maintaining very low offset drift of 3 to 14 ppm/°C . The ±85 A range provides ample headroom for measuring nominal currents up to 25 A with transient overcurrent capability, while the <0.4 µs response time and 300 kHz bandwidth capture fast-changing switching and pulse waveforms with high fidelity . The multi-range capability allows four different primary connection configurations, enabling measurement of 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4 of IPN with enhanced resolution . The 4.3 kV insulation and 9.5 mm creepage distance ensure robust safety isolation, while the separate overcurrent detection output provides direct monitoring of abnormal current conditions at system level .
