    The LT 1005-S/SP4 employs closed-loop Hall technology with active compensation, delivering high accuracy and excellent linearity across the full measuring range. This architecture fundamentally eliminates core saturation errors that degrade performance in open-loop sensors.

    The wide measuring range with overload capability provides ample safety margin for traction system transients and fault conditions. The fast response time and high bandwidth capture IGBT switching transients and high-frequency current components essential for protection and control applications.

    Designed specifically for railway propulsion converters, braking choppers, and auxiliary converters, the sensor features a flexible ±15V to ±24V supply configuration optimized for traction environments. The 40.5 × 40.5 mm aperture accommodates large busbars, and the panel mount design enables easy installation.

    The potted case with UL 94-V0 flame-retardant rating ensures protection against moisture and contaminants in demanding railway environments. Closed-loop compensation design provides excellent rejection of external magnetic fields and common mode noise, while non-contact Hall measurement adds no energy loss to the primary circuit.
