Working principle of closed-loop technology:
The core concept of magnetic balance technology is that the secondary coil generates a compensating magnetic field that cancels the primary current's magnetic field, keeping the magnetic core at zero flux, thereby minimizing the impact of external interference. Compared to traditional open-loop sensors, closed-loop technology offers superior immunity to external interference.
With a response time as low as 1 microsecond, the LT2005-S can send alarm signals at the first moment of short circuits or overcurrent events. In applications such as drives, power supplies, and welding equipment, this feature captures transient impacts early, protecting expensive equipment from damage.
The LT2005-S features a UL 94-V0 certified insulated plastic housing, with fully electrical isolation between primary and secondary circuits. The isolation withstand voltage can reach up to 12 kV AC for 1 minute. In high-voltage power systems, reliable electrical isolation is the first line of defense for operator safety and stable operation of downstream circuits.
