    LEM LT 2005-T/SP22 Product Overview

    The LT 2005-T/SP22 is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LT2005 series, designed for electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . It is specifically optimized for traction applications including railway propulsion and braking choppers, traction converters, and auxiliary converters .

    The "T" designation indicates integrated busbar construction, while the "SP22" variant features a ±24V fixed supply, 100-turn test winding, and Hall element located at the bottom center of the transducer core . The sensor includes a shield between primary and secondary and is customer-labeled for easy identification .

    This model is rated for 2000A nominal current with a measuring range of ±3000A (1.5× overload capability), outputting a 400mA instantaneous current signal with 0.3% accuracy and <0.1% linearity . It operates on a ±24V fixed bipolar supply, with a DC~100kHz bandwidth and a <1µs response time. The sensor features a 60.5 × 20.5 mm aperture and operates over a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C . Insulation test voltage is 6 kV RMS between primary and secondary + shield .
