    LT505-S/SP34 Product Overview

    The LT505-S/SP34 is a high-performance closed-loop Hall-effect current sensor from LEM (Switzerland), part of the LT series. It is designed for precision measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents, with galvanic isolation between the primary (high power) and secondary (low power) circuits – meaning no direct electrical connection between the main high-voltage path and the control electronics.

    The sensor has a primary rated current of 500 A RMS, with a maximum measurable range up to 1200 A. It outputs a 100 mA instantaneous current signal that can be directly connected to control systems. The supply voltage is ±15 V to ±24 V bipolar power supply. Designed for panel mounting, this sensor is ideal for high-power applications such as railway traction, industrial power electronics, and renewable energy systems.
