Patented ClosedLoop Hall Technology – “Zero-Flux, Zero Error” Every Time

The LT58-S7/SP1Z uses state-of-the-art closed-loop Hall effect technology, also known as a “zero-flux” or “compensated” Hall scheme. It is not a conventional open-loop sensor, but a sophisticated magnetic balancing system with dynamic error correction:

Classic Hall principle – When the primary current passes through the central aperture, it generates a magnetic field in the high-permeability core. The Hall element captures this field precisely.

Revolutionary closedloop feedback – Instead of simple direct output, the LT58-S7/SP1Z amplifies the signal and drives a secondary compensation coil. This coil generates a magnetic field exactly opposite to the primary field, forcing the total flux in the core to zero – achieving physical balance.

Perfect result – During this dynamic zero-forcing process, the current through the compensation coil linearly and faithfully represents the primary current. Adding a precision load resistor Rm directly yields a perfect voltage output.
