    LEM LTC 1000-SF/SP33 Product Overview

    The LTC 1000-SF/SP33 is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LTC series, designed for electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. It is specifically optimized for traction applications including railway propulsion and braking choppers, traction converters, and auxiliary converters.

    This model features a 42 × 12 mm aperture for the primary conductor crossing. The SP33 variant is a special configuration with feet mounted to be compatible with LT 1000-SI/SP11, making it an ideal drop-in replacement for existing installations. The secondary connections support dual fastening modes: either 4×M5 threaded studs or 4×Faston (6.3×0.8mm) tabs.

    This model is rated for 1000A nominal current with a measuring range of ±3000A (3× overload capability), outputting a 250mA instantaneous current signal with 0.4% accuracy and 0.1% linearity. It operates on a ±15V to ±24V bipolar supply, with a DC~100kHz bandwidth and a <1µs response time. The sensor features a 13.4kV RMS insulation test voltage and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, compliant with EN 50155:2017 railway standards.
