    LEM LTC 400-SF LTC Series Closed Loop Current Transducer

    LEM LTC 400-SF Product Overview

    The LTC 400-SF is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's LTC Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits. This panel-mount transducer features an integral aperture for primary busbar installation and is specifically designed for railway traction applications.

    Rated for 400 A nominal with a measuring range of 0 to ±1200 A, it outputs a secondary current of 100 mA at nominal with ±0.7% accuracy and <0.1% linearity. Turns ratio is 1:4000. Response time is <1 µs and frequency bandwidth is DC to 100 kHz. Supply voltage range is ±15 to ±24 V DC. Mass is 650 g and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Insulation test voltage is 12 kV RMS at 50 Hz for 1 minute, with 60 mm creepage and 55 mm clearance. The aperture accommodates primary busbars. The device meets EN 50155 railway standards.

The dual fastening mode for secondary connections (4xM5 threaded studs or 4xFaston 6.3 × 0.8 mm) provides installation flexibility. A standard shield enhances EMI immunity.
