    LTC 500-SF Product Overview

    When you need to accurately monitor large currents in rail transit traction systems (such as locomotive traction converters, auxiliary converters, and braking choppers), with the highest demands for reliability, isolation, and wide-temperature operation — the LEM LTC 500-SF is the solution designed specifically for you.

    This 500A rated current closed-loop Hall effect current transducer comes from LEM, the global leader in electrical measurement. It features an ultra-wide measurement range of ±1200A, an ultra-fast response time of <1µs, and ±0.6% high accuracy. The transducer supports a wide ±15V ~ ±24V power supply, delivers a rated 125mA current output, achieves a frequency bandwidth of 100kHz, and has linearity better than <0.1%.

    With 12kV insulation test voltage, 41kV impulse withstand voltage, and 50mm creepage distance, it sets the safety benchmark for traction-grade current monitoring. Operating over -40℃ ~ +85℃ with EN 50155:2017 certification and a 27.5mm aperture, it is the ideal choice for traction converters, auxiliary power supplies, battery chargers, and more.
