In industrial automation, rail transportation, and renewable energy, energy storage and power conversion systems, accurate current measurement directly impacts system safety and efficiency. As a global leader in electrical measurement, LEM leverages decades of expertise to deliver the LTC1000-SF/SP10 high-current closed-loop Hall effect current transducer. Whether you are designing a high-power inverter, a photovoltaic inverter, or an energy storage system, this transducer provides a stable, reliable, and trustworthy current monitoring solution.
The LTC1000-SF/SP10 inherits the essence of the LTC1000 series with a modular structure that supports both horizontal and vertical mounting, adapting perfectly to various cabinet layouts. The product comes standard with mounting feet that can be easily removed as needed, offering three different foot mounting options. The 42 × 12 mm through-hole accommodates a wide range of primary conductors – whether you use busbars or cables, installation is quick and easy. Additionally, the secondary connection supports both 4× M5 studs or Faston quick-connect terminals, making wiring simple and maintenance efficient.
Core technology determines performance. The LTC1000-SF/SP10 uses closed-loop (zero-flux / magnetic compensation) Hall effect technology, enabling high-precision isolated measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents. Compared to traditional open-loop transducers, the closed-loop design offers extremely low temperature drift and excellent linearity. Over the wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the overall accuracy remains within ±0.4%, linearity is better than ±0.1%, and the response time is only 1 μs. This level of performance means that whether your equipment operates in freezing outdoor conditions or in hot industrial environments, the measurement data remains consistently reliable and trustworthy.
With a rated primary current of 1000A and a measuring range up to ±2400A, the LTC1000-SF/SP10 is more than capable of handling most high-current scenarios. The turns ratio of 1:5000 delivers a secondary output of 200mA (instantaneous), making it easy to interface with various acquisition systems. A wide frequency bandwidth from DC to 100 kHz not only captures DC signals accurately but also fully reproduces high-frequency AC components and pulsed current waveforms – providing complete current information for dynamic conditions such as variable frequency drives and switching power supplies.
Industrial production never happens in a temperature-controlled laboratory. The wide-temperature design and excellent electromagnetic immunity of the LTC1000-SF/SP10 ensure stable operation in harsh environments. Whether in a hot, dusty steel mill, railway lines in freezing regions, or electrically noisy substations, its outstanding common-mode rejection keeps the output signal clean and stable. The UL 94-V0 flame-retardant insulating plastic housing further enhances safety in high-voltage applications.
In high-voltage, high-current systems, safety is the top priority. The LTC1000-SF/SP10 provides complete galvanic isolation between the primary (high-power) and secondary (electronic circuit) sides, effectively protecting downstream control circuits from high-voltage transients. An integrated shield reduces common-mode interference and improves signal quality. A wide supply voltage range of ±15V to ±24V is compatible with most industrial power systems, requiring no additional adaptation.
The LTC1000-SF/SP10 is already widely used in many critical areas:
Traction systems: Main and auxiliary converters, substations, battery chargers for rail equipment
Renewable energy: Photovoltaic inverters, battery packs and BMS for energy storage, fuel cell test systems
Industrial drives: AC variable frequency drives, servo motor drives, static converters for DC drives
Power quality: UPS, switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), welding power supplies
Automotive electronics: ABS, ECAT transmission control, traction control, and more
LEM holds a global market share of more than 30% in industrial automation, and its products have earned the trust and long-term cooperation of leading companies worldwide, thanks to their outstanding performance and reliability.

In critical systems, even a small current measurement error can lead to overheating, reduced efficiency, or safety incidents. Rather than paying higher maintenance costs later due to insufficient accuracy, choose a mature, field-proven product at the design stage. The LTC1000-SF/SP10 combines excellent measurement performance, flexible installation, and high cost-effectiveness – it is a reliable partner for your projects.
