    LTC1000-SF/SP13 Key Specifications at a Glance

     

    The LTC1000-SF/SP13 is a through-hole Hall-effect closed-loop current transducer from the LTC series by LEM (Switzerland). It combines full-scale high linearity, extremely low thermal drift, and outstanding immunity to interference – making it the benchmark signal-acquisition core for rail traction, industrial drives, and precision power measurement.

    Measuring range (IPM): 3000 A (covers short-term overloads)

    Secondary output: Instantaneous 250 mA (current output, high noise immunity)

    Supply voltage: External bipolar DC ±(15 … 24) V

    Accuracy: ±0.4 % (over full temperature range)

    Operating temperature: –40 ℃ … +85 ℃ (suitable for harsh outdoor/industrial use)

    Primary signal type: AC + DC (true bi-directional measurement)

    Closed-loop Hall effect – Benchmark for accuracy and stability

    In industrial sensing, closed-loop Hall technology delivers unsurpassed linearity and fast dynamic response. The LTC1000-SF/SP13 uses closed-loop compensation to null the flux in the magnetic core. This not only provides a 100 kHz bandwidth, but also keeps linearity error below 0.1% even in electrically noisy environments – giving you trustworthy signal fidelity.

    Ultra-high voltage isolation – Protects both sides

    The transducer features complete physical isolation between the primary power circuit and the secondary electronics.

    Isolation voltage (primary/secondary): 13.4 kV rms

    With a UL 94-V0 rated plastic case, it ensures safe operation and protection for personnel and downstream control equipment in very highvoltage systems such as rail traction.

    Wide temperature range – Unaffected by extreme environments

    Thanks to extremely low thermal drift, the transducer holds accuracy drift to ±1% over the full –40 ℃ to +85 ℃ range. Whether in desert heat or a cold storage facility, your measurements stay consistent.

    Non-intrusive throughhole design – Zero insertion loss

    The through-hole design (aperture: 42 x 12 mm or 42 mm diameter) measures current without contact. It adds no extra power loss to the primary bus and does not distort the waveform – improving system efficiency and extending component lifetime.
