The LTC200-SF/SP2 is a high-precision closed-loop Hall-effect current transducer developed by LEM, a world-leading expert in electrical measurement. Designed for demanding industrial environments such as traction systems, it offers a rated current measurement of 200 A and can measure up to 400 A. This transducer is an ideal current sensing solution for railway, industrial power, and new energy applications. Backed by LEM’s more than 50 years of technological excellence, the LTC200-SF/SP2 combines high accuracy, reinforced isolation, wide operating temperature, and flexible mounting – helping your system achieve safe, reliable, and precise current monitoring.
Compact modular design with flexible mounting options. The LTC200-SF/SP2 features a modular concept that supports both horizontal and vertical mounting, allowing you to choose the best orientation for your equipment layout. The base offers three mounting methods, and the busbar can be installed in two ways. Mechanical mounting requires only one screw, significantly reducing assembly time and maintenance costs.
Galvanic isolation + high dielectric withstand voltage for safety. Using closed loop Hall-effect technology, the primary side (current to be measured) and secondary side (output signal) are fully electrically isolated. The isolation test voltage is 12 kV RMS / 50 Hz / 1 min, ensuring personnel and equipment safety even in highvoltage scenarios.
Wide range, high accuracy – one transducer for multiple applications. Rated at 200 A, with a measuring range up to 400 A, it accurately measures DC, AC, and pulsed currents. Accuracy is ±0.5% with fast response time, capable of capturing instantaneous current changes to meet the demanding requirements of highdynamic control systems.
Extra-wide operating temperature – reliable even in extreme environments. The operating temperature range extends from -40 ℃ to +70 ℃ (some variants up to +85 ℃). Whether in severe northern cold or southern heat, it operates stably, unaffected by extreme conditions.

Closed-loop Hall technology – precise and stable. Closed-loop Hall technology automatically compensates for flux variations in the magnetic core, significantly reducing temperature drift and non-linearity to ensure consistent long-term accuracy. Compared with open-loop sensors, the closed-loop structure offers better linearity and lower offset drift over a wide current range – the preferred choice for high-performance current sensing.
⚡ Up to 100 kHz bandwidth – fast dynamic response. With a bandwidth of up to 100 kHz, the LTC200-SF/SP2 accurately captures transient changes in high-frequency current signals, making it suitable for applications requiring fast response such as variable-frequency drives and switch-mode power supplies.
️ Excellent EMC performance – clean and reliable signal. The product strictly complies with the European EMC Directive 2004/108/EEC, carries CE marking, and uses UL94-V0 flame-retardant materials, offering both electromagnetic compatibility and environmental safety.
φ27.5 mm through-hole – flexible busbar/cable routing. The large 27.5 mm aperture allows copper busbars or power cables to pass through easily without interrupting the original circuit. “Non-invasive installation” is fast and safe, particularly suitable for retrofitting existing equipment.
The LTC200-SF/SP2 fully meets railway standard EN 50155 and is widely used for current monitoring in traction systems, including:
Traction converters & auxiliary converters – real-time monitoring of DC-link and AC output currents, providing accurate feedback for traction control.
Traction substations – core sensors for current measurement and protection, accurately monitoring incoming, outgoing, and compensation circuits.
DC circuit breakers & battery chargers – detecting charge/discharge currents to ensure safe charging processes.
New energy generation & storage systems – current sensing in PV inverters, wind converters, and storage PCS.
Industrial drives & power supplies – phase and DC-link current monitoring in general purpose inverters, servo drives, and highvoltage drives.
