    LEM PCM 10-P/SP1 PCM Series Closed Loop Current Transducer

    LEM PCM 10-P/SP1 Product Overview

    The PCM 10-P/SP1 is a closed-loop Hall effect current transducer from LEM's PointSenz PCM Series, designed for the electronic measurement of DC, AC, and pulsed currents with galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary circuits . This split-core transducer features secondary connections on a cable and is specifically engineered for monitoring points in trackside railway applications .

    Rated for 10 A nominal with a measuring range of ±20 A, it outputs a 4-20 mA current signal (4 mA for -Ip, 12 mA for 0 A, 20 mA for +Ip) with ±1% accuracy and ±0.2% linearity . Response time is 10 µs and bandwidth is DC to 1 kHz . Supply voltage is +24 V DC with reverse polarity protection . Mass is 155 g and operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C . Insulation test voltage is 50 V RMS with 12 mm creepage and 10 mm clearance. The 15.6 mm aperture accommodates the primary conductor, and secondary connections are made via 3 m screened polyurethane cable . The device features an insulating plastic case recognized according to UL 94-V0 and is water-resistant rated to IP67.
