    Texas Instruments SN75176BDR Product Overview

    The SN75176BDR is a differential bus transceiver from Texas Instruments, designed for bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It is engineered for balanced transmission lines and meets ANSI standards TIA/EIA-422-B and TIA/EIA-485-A, as well as ITU recommendations V.11 and X.27 . Housed in a standard 8-pin SOIC package, the device integrates a 3-state differential line driver and a differential input line receiver, both powered from a single 5 V supply .

    The device operates in half-duplex mode and supports data rates up to 10 Mbps. The driver outputs and receiver inputs are internally connected to form differential I/O bus ports. The driver features positive and negative current limiting and thermal shutdown protection for line-fault conditions . The receiver offers ±200 mV input sensitivity with 50 mV typical hysteresis for noise immunity . Supply voltage range is 4.75 V to 5.25 V and operating temperature is 0 °C to +70 °C . Mass is approximately 0.08 g.
