    TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TMP102AIDRLR Product Overview

    The TMP102AIDRLR is a low-power digital temperature sensor from Texas Instruments, designed as a direct replacement for NTC/PTC thermistors where high accuracy is required without calibration. The device offers an accuracy of ±0.5°C without requiring external component signal conditioning.

    Operating from a supply voltage of 1.4V to 3.6V, the device features an on-chip 12-bit ADC with resolution down to 0.0625°C. Quiescent current is 7.5µA maximum during active operation and 0.35µA in shutdown mode. Communication is via SMBus, two-wire, and I2C interface compatibility, allowing up to four devices on one bus with an SMBus alert function. Housed in an SOT563 package (DRL) measuring 1.6mm × 1.6mm — a 68% smaller footprint than SOT-23 — the device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Units are 100% tested against NIST-traceable sensors. Moisture sensitivity level is MSL 1 with unlimited floor life.
